Millennium Park is a redeveloped section of Grant Park that stretches on 24.5 acres (101,000 square meters). Planning began in October 1997, construction in October 1998 and it was completed in July 2004. The park is bordered by Michigan Ave to the West, Columbus Dr to the East, Randolph St to the North and Monroe St to the South. The park is open daily between 6 AM and 11 PM.
